The Story of E.S and Sain - by RBL

My Civilization Creation

Hello my name is RBL and welcome to my first action project for my Stories. In the class we’ve gotten to look at different origin stories from past civilizations like the Hopi, Norse, the Cherokee, and the Hebrew. We also had Lily b the Stoop come into our class to play a game based around different stories in our lives. All those things were done in order to help us prepare to create our own original origin stories for our own civilizations. I wanted to create my story the way it is because in most of those stories that we read I see that the sun isn’t really given any source of life or extreme importance. This is why in my own origin story I wanted the sun to be the starting point of my civilization. Nature I believe isn’t looked at enough seeing that all over the world a lot of different parks and forests are being torn down in order to create more cities and buildings. Which is why I wanted to create my story the way I did. Thank you for reading and let’s begin this tale.

The Story of Terabash

In the beginning, the galaxy was vast and larger than the Andromeda Galaxy. In the middle of this empty galaxy, there was nothing but the eternal sun or E.S for short . This sun was nothing like the sun we look up and see today. This sun was ravenous and was more boisterous than a hound chasing a fox. E.S also twice as bright as ours, too. This sun was always saddened being the only being in the galaxy. It was alone in it’s world, dark as a night’s sky. So it decided to create a planet of its own to look at.

First, E took its sun hands and put them together and rubbed them against each other faster than its own light. This caused tons of rocks to form in its hands. These rocks were the size of the asteroids that we have floating elegantly around our solar system. The difference being that these rocks were used as Lego bricks so the sun could create this planet. So it sat at its kiln and used its hands to morph these rocks into a planet big as our planet Jupiter. E.S decided to call this planet Terabash.

At the time, there was no life on this planet, and nothing that could power it from the inside. So ES reached in and picked out its worst and most useless organ and put the light of the darkened place outside of it. It went on to call this Sain, the sun’s often defiant son. Unlike his giver of life, Sain was somewhat smaller than the eternal sun. Unlike it’s giver of life with an orange shade of light, Sain had a light of blue and was usually calmer than it as well. This gave him new abilities and a different mindset than his giver. Now, before E.S sent Sain into the Terabash’s core it told Sain, “This planet is now yours my son, do whatever you see fit.” The eternal then threw his son into the planet’s core so he could power the planet’s essence.

With Sain inside of Terabash, he couldn’t see how harsh and barren the outside world looked. All Sain saw was the planet's core, so he was blind in the dark. So from the inside he opened his mouth to the size of a dam and water gushed out rapidly to fill the core that he was stuck inside of. Once the core was completely filled with water, he pushed the sides of the core until they shattered like glass. Then waters began to flow in every direction and oceans and seas began to form. This also let Sain outside of the core so he could see how big his new world truly was. Then Sain touched the oceans and waterways and shortly mountains slowly rose up and grass began to blossom. Then trees, flowers, and plants shortly followed. When Sain Saw nothing but the pure emptiness in the sky that his Giver left him with he decided to take his hands and spread them across the darkness above him making the sky and clouds shortly followed.

Sain had now created Terabash and only needed those to inhabit it. So Sain gave the ground a tap of the finger and Fish spread fluently around the seas, then cows, and pigs appeared and began to feed like barbarians on the plants around them. Hawks, ducks, and chickens slowly began to spread across the world as well. Over time Sain created almost every animal and species we know today, but E.S watched in awe of what it’s son had created and slowly began to grow upset. For a time all there was was peace on this boring planet, so E.S decided to create the humans and placed them onto the world and watched how they slowly ravaged the world. As the humans started house making and agriculture, they also killed the peaceful animals that Sain had just created. With this Sain knew that if the humans didn’t stop their growth in production Sain’s world would slowly intoxicate itself leaving no survivors. So Sain created death and illnesses that would limit human production and made it so they could live as one with the animals and their surroundings. After all was done E.S looked down at the world finally at ease and realized that creating the humans only hurt the world in all. E.S apologized to Sain and decided to only watch Terabash from a distance, providing its world with everlasting sunlight for many more centuries to come.
